Life Is Like a Box of Chocolates

Nice title for the blog post today right?  I am so excited about this blog!  People, please share with your friends, and I need outfits from you guys personally.  If you don't have gmail or yahoo, just send me the pics via facebook and I can post them on the site.

So I bet you are wondering what the title of the post means.  The reason behind this title is the randomness that is going to be expressed in this blog will probably surprise you.  People like mysteries and people love surprises (especially girls, right?).

I have already had some suggestions of doing a blog over cute work clothes ideas.  I will blog about that later on.  I don't have a ton of time today, because I am suppose to meet Ashley Dick (one of my favorite people in the World) in about an hour, so this blog will be a short one! Today's focus will be on must have accessories.  I will also show some awesome stuff that I found at Bath and Body Works today!  Hope you are excited!

Bath and Body Works

This is just something awesome I wanted to tell you about.  These are cute little floral bags that can be reused.  The coolest thing (besides the $3.00 price) is the fact that the bags fold down into a cute little compact. They could even fit in a back pocket!  Also, these would be great gift ideas.

These are called Scent Stackers.  I think that these would be great gift ideas for sure!  :)  (hint hint)
The cool thing is that there is body lotion, body spray, and body wash all in a stackable cylinder.

The only downfall of this product is the fact that they aren't connected, they are just sitting on top of each other, so the stack falls apart really easy.  I thought they were attached, so when I went to pick them up, I almost made a complete mess at the store.  The whole set is only $15.00.

Overall:  Neat idea, awesome gift idea and affordable.  On the downside, not an awesome package idea.  I would recommend this product.

These two products smell amazing and also makes you feel amazing.  They also leave a lite shimmer on your skin.  I tested both products while being in the store and loved them both!  One of them is a body spray, and the other is a dual dispenser, which contains lotion on one side and the other is a shimmer gel.  I would definitely recommend these items for the spring/summer.

Must have accessories

Feathers
I believe I bought these for around $2-3/pair.  Ladies, get in touch with your native side!

Floral
I bought these for around $2.80/pair!  What a bargain :)

Hoops
The gold sparkle hoops were $1.50 and the blue/gold set was $2.80
Hoops will never go out of style.  I think they are classic!

Pastels
These earrings were absolutely gorgeous!  I love the salmon/baby pink earrings! They were around $3-4/pair.

Necklaces - the one on the far right is an anchor necklace that I bought for around $4.80 from forever21.  The next one is a statement piece!  Everyone must have a statement piece, I have had so many compliments on this little nectar!  I only spent $6 on it at JC Penny (on sale of course)! The leaf necklace was purchased online at forever21.com, I believe it was quite a bargain ($3.80)!

Green Country

Hi, my name is Julie, but my good friends call me Jules.  I am 24 years old, and soon approaching a quarter of a century old (in other words almost 25). I have been out of college for almost an entire year and I still have no idea what I want to do.  I feel like my career path is constantly changing, but one thing remains that same and that is the fact that I am obsessed with fashion. When a person outside of Oklahoma thinks of Oklahoma, I bet anything they think that all people here are Indian and we are all a bunch of hillbillies. This is partially true, but some of us do have some sort of fashion sense.

Which brings me to my point, I am starting this blog because Oklahoma could use a little fashion help.  This blog will talk about everything from fashion to everyday issues, but mostly fashion. I have big dreams of doing something in fashion one day, but being a small town girl in Oklahoma gives me a buzz kill. I feel like I could be an awesome celebrity stylist, but there are a few problems/issues that keep me from fufilling that dream.  They are the following:
  1. Living in Small Town, Oklahoma
  2. Not being near any celebrities PERIOD (except for maybe Garth and Trisha, but I don't know if they qualify for the type of fashion I would like to pursue).
  3. Not having an open opportunity
So to help fulfill my dream job and also just to do something to keep me busy, I will try my best to keep people updated with what's new in fashion.  I will also try to put my twist on things, opinions of different styles, and also my predictions of what will be hot or not soon.  Grant it, I will probably be wrong sometimes and some of you will question my opinions, and that is A-OK because it will be my perspective.  I also want comments people, plenty of comments of what you think.  Also, I want to know if you like what I am posting, I want pictures of the outfits you try out and suggestions.  I am open to all ideas you have as well.

I hope you enjoy my future blogs!

Best Wishes for the Week!
Jules
